The reason our customers are getting their orders this quickly is typically because we send virtually everything Express Post. Other internet sellers typically charge $6 for a small package (we charge $10 up to 500 grams, $15 up to 3KG !) and it takes about 5 days to be delivered even to another capital city. In most cases, our deliveries are next day ! Which is better value : $4 or 4 extra days ????

The list of products "to clear" includes amateur radio & CB products and accessories, general electronic parts and electronic accessory items. Some items will be with full warranty (up to 3 yrs), some 12 months, others a 30 day warranty, and some without warranty - see the item descriptions for specific details. We will no longer be selling Yaesu, Sangean, Tigertronics or Icom products after the current stocks are exhausted.

OPERATIONAL DETAILS:

• We are only supplying "stocked items" and will not be ordering any more stock of the listed type in, even to fill new orders.
• Customer orders are handled on the "time/date-stamped" basis where demand exceeds supply for any particular item/s.
• Pricing on items is typically below RRP and only "stock on hand" is available from us.
• Many good discounts apply to these clearout items, particularly Altronics items with a 25% across-the-board discount.

• If you require images or specs on specific products, we will email them back as time permits - noting the above comments about Altronics lines..
• QUANTITY ELECTRONIC PARTS ORDERS ( VALUE > $100 ) WILL USUALLY RECEIVE AN ADDITIONAL DISCOUNT - OR - FREE FREIGHT.

Payments:

• Credit Cards: Visa or Mastercard only, and will be manually processed through our EFTPOS system when the shipping charges are known - i.e. as the order is being packed..
• Effective from 1/7/08, we will phone you for credit card details in lieu of your providing credit card details on-line.
  A valid contact phone number is required for normal working hours Mon-Fri.
  { Note that this change has been forced upon us by Westpac / Visa / Mastercard and is not of our choosing. }
• Direct Deposit & BPay: Order via our webshop & we email you a PDF of your invoice and include our account details for you to pay against.
  You will need to notify us after making your payment so that we can check our deposit amounts.
  Please use our invoice number as any electronic deposit references.

Orders:

• Minimum order value is $10, and does NOT include the minimum shipping charges of $10.
  In essence, the minimum credit card charge will be $20 inc GST.
• Only orders from Australian customers will be processed.
• Orders can be placed by direct email to sales@ozgear.com.au providing normal contact details, item codes and quantities, and desired payment details - in lieu of webshop ordering..
• No local pickups (then Brisbane area customers only) except as indicated in the description area.
  These items will be typically large or heavy and would be expensive to ship, even by courier.
• Orders will incur shipping/freight charges, $10 minimum (as noted above), with additional cost depending on the order's physical size, weight and destination.
  Where possible, small items will be despatched by 500g Express Post bag ($10), slightly larger by 3Kg Express Post bag ($15), etc.. to effect a quick delivery.
• OzGear is now part-time so do not necessarily expect same or next day (Mon-Fri) email responses or shipping of orders.
  However, we do try and, most times, surprise..... (see some customer testimonials further up this page).
• Because we are operating on a part-time basis, we do not have any published contact numbers for incoming phone calls.
  Our previous incoming business number is still held by us but terminates only in an answering machine info message advising to visit this web site.
  We do not accept incoming phone calls under any circumstances (or even listen to recorded messages)..
  Email is our only incoming contact medium.
  We do, as necessary, phone customers at the phone number/s supplied on webshop orders to confirm available quantities, arrange deliveries or confirm payment details.
• Under normal circumstances, incoming webshop orders arriving before 1PM are processed and despatched the same working day, or the subsequent working day where weekends are involved.
• Most orders are processed same or next day (Mon-Fri) { see above}, and because of the use of Express Post, orders arrive in many places THE NEXT WORKING DAY.
  (e.g. order Sunday, order processed & despatched Monday, arrives Tuesday in most places {capital cities, major centres..} ).
• General order processing procedure is that customers are emailed an advice that their order has been processed and method of delivery (eg Express Post bag size plus bag label number, courier docket number etc), usually with an expected delivery date (eg next day...). Most customers are usually emailed a PDF of their order.

• OzGear is now an internet-only business having closed its physical shopfront in Brisbane at the end of May 2007.
